April 2012 ACCESS Parent Training Workshops
Special Needs Trusts
Presented by Rex Kyle, President of Trust and Wealth Management Division, Bank of the Ozarks
Tuesday, April 17, 6-7:45 p.m.
$10 per person. (FREE to ACCESS parents.)
If you have a child or other loved one with special needs, you may want to set up a special needs trust. A special needs trust (or supplemental needs trust) is an estate planning tool that can help you provide for the needs of a disabled individual without jeopardizing his or her eligibility for government benefits. Learn why you might set up a SNT, what the requirements are, what the trust must do, what types of SNTs are available and how they are funded, among other considerations.
All classes are at the ACCESS Stella Boyle Smith Campus, 10618 Breckenridge Dr., Little Rock. Cost: $10 per person. All parent training workshops are free for ACCESS parents. Contact Shalene Hammons at 501-217-8600 for reservations, or complete and return the registration form. Due to staff availability, childcare is available to ACCESS families only at this time. Childcare reservations must be made one week in advance. There is a $10 fee for the first child and $5 for each subsequent child per family.
