Early Intervention - Early Childhood Therapy
ACCESS, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, has been providing high-quality outpatient early intervention/early childhood speech, physical and occupational therapy for more than 16 years.
Why choose ACCESS?
ACCESS offers comprehensive services, including an infant and toddler stimulation program, ACCESS Preschool, the ACCESS Evaluation and Resource Center and outpatient pediatric speech, physical and occupational therapy. ACCESS is a Developmental Day Treatment Clinic Services (DDTCS) center. We accept Medicaid, ARKids and TEFRA funding.
The experienced ACCESS early intervention/early childhood team includes two NOMAS (Neo-natal Oral-Motor Assessment Scale®)-certified speech-language pathologists, an NDT-certified physical therapist, a seasoned occupational therapist and a birth-to-3 educator.
ACCESS’ family-centered approach transcends a one-hour session. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of free training workshops covering topics such as feeding, behavior management, sensory integration and more.
Therapists regularly model activities for parents, sharing activity ideas and creating custom therapy materials for use at home. Therapists also engage in quarterly home therapy visits and home consultations to ensure a child’s program is beneficial across environments.
ACCESS Early Intervention/Early Childhood Therapy Client Profile
ACCESS Therapy has been successful with a variety of disabilities, including autism, developmental delays, childhood apraxia of speech, hearing impairment, language impairment, Down Syndrome, articulation disorder, central auditory processing disorder, sensory integration disorders, dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
Birth-to-3 clients who have a development delay or disability receive neurodevelopmental therapy techniques; learn and practice proper motor patterns, respiration, coordination and phonation; are treated for feeding disorders; train in vision and learning orientation and are encouraged to engage in creative play that builds social and emotional skills.
