The goal for each child enrolled in physical therapy is to be independently mobile in his or her environment.
Gait training addresses independent ambulation, with or without assistive devices, in the most efficient way for a child.
Endurance and strength training addresses a child's cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance to maintain involvement and independence in any certain activity.
Developmental activities addresses the child's ability to participate in age appropriate activities such as ball skills, skipping, jumping, riding a bike and balance skills.
