Booster Club Events: Volunteers Needed!

The following is a list of upcoming ACCESS Booster Club activities. Please choose one or two that match your interests and volunteer to help make them as successful as possible. Contact Leah Shell, APA president, at APA@accessschools.org to volunteer.

Booster Club Coffee and Doughnut Sales
Fall and Spring, Dates and Times TBD
The Booster Club hosts Friday coffee and doughnut sales throughout the fall and spring to raise funds.
Volunteers are needed to purchase supplies, manage sales and collect money.

Booster Club Sucker Sales
Mid-February, Dates and Times TBD
This popular fundraiser provides  staff, parents and other supporters the opportunity to purchase cute heart-shaped, white chocolate-covered Rice Krispie treats. This fundraiser has the option of changing for the 2011-2012 year, including changing to a different time of year (perhaps Halloween).
Volunteers are needed to help make and package the treats and manage sales and order distribution.

Booster Club Pasta Party
Late April, Date and Time TBD
The Booster Club annual Pasta Party brings athletes and their families together to raise money for the ACCESS sports programs.
Volunteers are needed to cook the meal, manage event setup and teardown and manage ticket sales.

Booster Club Sports Banquet
Late May, Date and Time TBD
The Booster Club annual Sports Banquet honors athlete achievements. Athletes and their families enjoy a dinner and awards presentation.
Volunteers are needed to work with the ACCESS staff Booster Club liaison to create the agenda, to coordinate the dinner, to manage event setup and teardown and to manage ticket sales.
