As you can see from the list below, we have a strong APA executive committee; now we need some additional ACCESS parents to help us with the fundraisers and activites the APA hosts annually to benefit ACCESS students and their families. Read on for more information on APA volunteer opportunities.

APA Fundraising Chairman
• Coordinate, lead and supervise all fundraising activities of the APA, with the exception of Booster Club events
• Serve as liaison between the organization and business representatives (i.e., Sally Foster)
• Establish fall and spring fundraisers, including selling dates
• Promote fundraisers, including managing fliers, marquis, and parent e-mails
• Collect, submit, and distribute fundraising orders, including funds
• Present fundraising results to APA Executive Committee
APA New Parent Party Chairman
• Secure catering menu
• Select, order and mail invitations
• Purchase centerpieces and supplies as needed
• Create agenda and PowerPoint presentation with the APA president
• Schedule childcare
• Supervise assistants and coordinate event setup and teardown
APA Hip Hop Halloween Chairman
• Coordinate volunteers for setup, teardown and snacks
• Obtain snacks
• Set up and dismantle decorations and snacks
• Dismantle decorations and return to storeroom
APA Staff Appreciation Chairman
• Contact volunteers for food items
• Coordinate event setup and teardown, including setting date and time; room reservation; purchasing plates, napkins and utensils; and coordinating serving pieces
APA Parent Support Chairman (Position Filled for 2011-2012)
• Coordinate social hours
• Serve as a liaison between parents and APA Executive Committee
Booster Club President
• Serve as a member of the APA Executive Committee
• Serve as the principal executive officer of Booster Club and supervis and control all Booster Club activities
• Keep an annual record of all Booster Club activities
• Track Booster Club membership
• Coordinate all Booster Club chairman
Booster Club Fundraising Chairman
• Coordinate, lead and supervise all fundraising activities of the Booster Club

Booster Club Volunteer Chairman
• Work with ACCESS staff Booster Club liaison to coordinate parent volunteers for swim, track and cheerleading team activities
Booster Club Uniform Orders Chairman
• Work with ACCESS staff Booster Club liaison to coordinate uniform orders and run “gently used” uniform redistribution
